I have a full length stage play already written and looking for a home, about Blake’s Trial which I called ‘Felpham Sweet Felpham’. There is also a novella about a conceited black cat entitled ‘Not that I brag’ which is with my agent along with a full length novel called ‘Everybody’s Somebody’. This features a girl sent out to work in 1909 when she is aged 12, miles from home and away from her family and what this does to the rest of her life. It’s a story of courage and determination for she is a young woman determined not to be put down and takes any job that offers, artist’s model, bit part player in films, barmaid, housekeeper and a waitress.
I have two novels underway at the moment, a YA which is a new venture for me and which I have called ‘The Dreaded Witch of Woodend’ about a fifteen year old who dyes her naturally blonde hair black and goes goth to annoy her father, and a sequel to ‘Everybody’s Somebody’ called ‘Citizen Army’ following the characters in Everybody’s Somebody through WW2 and up to the bloodless revolution of 1945.
